If you haven’t yet visited this gem on the Seine River, you’re in for a treat. Paris, or “The City of Light”, as it’s known to aficionados, offers an embarrassment of riches. Travelers in the know say the city of 2.2 million in the north central part of France has an abundance of food, sights and entertainment, but beware, the secret is out and you are likely to face large numbers of other people anxious for the same experiences.
For those who really don’t know Paris: the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triumphe, Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Musee D’Orsay, Luxembourg Gardens, Champs Elysee, the Moulin Rouge, and the Sacre Coeur should keep you busy for a while. French food and wine are also reputed to be of high quality.
