Information related to change in schedule of flights between Georgia and Russia

Dear valuable Passengers,

Georgian Airways wants to inform you about changes in flight schedule:

Following the flight embargo between Russia and Georgia announced by Russian Federation Georgian Airways after 8th of July 2019 is changing the scheduled flights Tbilisi-Moscow-Tbilisi and offers its passengers following route twice daily: Tbilisi – Yerevan – Moscow – Yerevan – Tbilisi.

Passengers will stay on board and baggage will not be offloaded for the maximum comfort and time efficiency. Maximum transit time will be 35min. All flights will be operated by Boeing 737-700 certified under IATA and ICAO.

Following schedule will be offered according to local time without changing the aircraft:

A9 3930 (RM 930) Yerevan 09.20 Moscow (VKO) 10.50
A9 3929 (RM 929) Moscow (VKO) 11.50 Yerevan 15.20
A9 726 Yerevan 15.55 Tbilisi 16.25

A9 3928 (RM 928) Yerevan 18.45 Moscow (VKO) 20.15

Tickets can be booked online, local offices and other travel agencies. Same baggage rules will apply on all segments.

Passengers holding tickets on other routes such as LED, KZN, UFA, VOZ:

Have the right to keep the ticket up to 6 months and use it at earliest availability
Are offered a free rebooking to VKO. However travelling on their own from the destinations mentioned above.
Are eligible to request a refund on the point of purchase.
In case of BUS-VKO-BUS: same as above. But TBS-BUS-TBS will be available according to schedule. For more information please apply to your travel agency or our sales offices.
TBS-VOZ-TBS: will be offered an alternative route via Yerevan with date changes free of charge. Please refer for more information to your travel agency or our sales offices.

Passengers holding tickets for travel before the 8th of July and have a return ticket after 8th of July:

Can either use one segment and rebook the second segment to our alternative route free of charge
Can keep segment open up to 6 months and use it at earliest availability
Can request refund for the unused segment

Passengers who have valid tickets with departure after 8th of July on TBS-VKO or VKO-TBS flights and wish to use the ticket – will be automatically rebooked free of charge and receive a notification with the new flight details from the airline or travel agency. Passengers who do not wish to use the ticket may request a refund at the point of purchase. All other cases (date changes,etc) will be handled according to Airline’s standard procedures.
