  • Can I choose any seat when purchasing a ticket?
  • The seat can be prechosen if you pay the appropriate fee. You can also choose a seat for free online (24 hours prior to departure) or at the airport, during registration (except for the first two rows and emergency exits);

  • How can I choose the preferred tariff?
  • LIGHT – The cheapest tariff, which does not include luggage. The date change is possible against a fee. Ticket is non-refundable;
  • STANDARD – The most convenient tariff, which includes free checked luggage. The date change is possible against a fee. Ticket is non-refundable;
  • FLEXI – The most flexible tariff, which includes free checked luggage, the date can be changed free of charge If the same tariff won’t be available, the difference between the tariffs will be added). The refund is possible against a fee ;
  • Business –Business class tariff, which includes special meals and allocated seats in the plane. Tariffs can be refunded or exchanged without any additional fees. Business class passengers can use the business lounge at the following airports: Schiphol(Amsterdam); Ben Gurion(Tel Aviv); Pulkovo(St. Petersburg) Vnukovo (Moscow);

  • When purchasing a ticket from the website  georgian-airways.com , the amount was charge  from the card but I have not received the ticket, What shall I do?

          The payments through the website can be performed via Bank of Georgia and Sberbank payment systems;

  • Payment through Bank of Georgia payment system can be done by Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards in the following currencies: GEL, USD, EUR, GBP;
  • Please note that if you have a card of a Georgian bank, the payment in the payment system of the Bank of Georgia can be performed only in the national currency - GEL. If you would like to purchase a ticket in EUR;USD or GBP you shall select Sberbank’s payment system;
  • Payment via Sberbank’s payment system can be performed done by Visa cars and MasterCard in the following currencies: RUB, USD, EUR;

  • I would like to purchase a ticket in EUR currency, but I have GEL on my account, which rate will be used for conversion?
  • In this case the conversion will be done with your bank exchange  rate;

  • For how many people can I book tickets in one booking?
  • Tickets for up to 9 people can be booked at once;
Baggage information
  • What is the allowed limit for free baggage allowance?
  • In the economy class, except for the "LIGHT" tariff with only hand luggage and no free Baggage Allowance, the allowed limit for the hand luggage is 8 kg and for checked baggage - 23 kg (Russia and Ukraine - 25 kg);

  • What is the free baggage allowance for children from 2 to 12 years old?

  • What is the free baggage allowance for infants under 2 years old?

Sports equipment
  • Is it possible to transport the sports equipment and what rules do apply in this case?

  • I would like to take ski equipment with me, how much should I pay? Transportation of ski equipment during the winter season (15.12.2019-28.03.2020) is free of charge unless it exceeds the allowed limit for free luggage specified in the ticket.   • What are the prices for specific seats?
  • The following prices apply when purchasing a seat:
  • The first two rows - 25 Euro;
  • Emergency exit - 35 Euro;
  • All other exits and seats at the window - 9 Euro;
  • The middle row is free;
  • You can also choose a seat for free during online check-in (24 hours prior to departure) or during registration at the airport (except for the first two rows and emergency exits);
  • Please note that to select a seat at the emergency exit row, you must meet the following requirements to assist the crew if necessary:
  • You are not travelling with a child younger than 13 years of age.
  • You are able to hear, understand or act upon instructions given by our crew members in Georgian, English or Russian Languages.
  • You don´t have a condition that might prevent you from performing any or all evacuation assistance functions, or that might injure you while performing such functions.
  • You are willing to assist our authorized cabin crew with any evacuation tasks which might be assigned to you.
  • For the Emergency Exit Seat, check-in is available only at the airport before departure.
  • If you don´t comply with all the above requirements, you may be refused during check-in at the airport.
  • Please be informed that the paid amount is non-refundable.

  • Online registration opens 24 hours before departure. Online registration is available from the following cities: TBS, BCN, VIE, AMS, VKO, BUS, EVN, PRG, LED, KIEV;

  • Can I change my seat after registering online?

  • Can I register online if I have purchased a seat in the raw at emergency exit?
  • If you have a seat in the raw at emergency exit, the registration is only possible at the airport;
Ticket exchange
  • I do not fly anymore. Where can I cancel booking?
  • If you are unable to fly, it is advisable to contact us and cancel your booking in order to avoid no-show for the flight.   • I want to change my ticket date, what shall I do?
  • In case of “LIGHT” and “STANDARD” tariffs the date can be changed paying ticket change fine;
  • “FLEXI” and Business Class ticket exchange is free of charge (in the absence of the same tariff, the difference between the tariffs will be added). Flight delay or cancelation
  • What should I do if my flight is delayed or canceled?
  • If the flight is delayed or canceled, you will receive email offering alternative flight options.   • Please note that if the ticket is non-refundable and the delay time is less than two hours, you will not be refunded;

Ticket refund
  • How can I check whether my ticket is refundable or not?
  • Ticket refund depends on its tariff:
  • LIGHT and STANDARD tariff tickets are non-refundable;
  • FLEXI tariff tickets are refundable with fine;
  • Business class tickets are fully refundable;

  • I would like to return the ticket – what shall I do?
  • If you purchased a ticket in any agency or various online sites, you should contact the agency where you purchased the ticket to return. The agency will forward your request. The airline will consider the application and in case of consent the agency will refund you the amount;
  • If you have purchased a ticket from our official site georgian-airways.com and want to return, you can email to [email protected].  We will recheck whether the ticket is refundable and will contact you;

  • COVID-tickets (meaning travel dates between 1st of March and 31st of June 2020) may refer to our customer center regarding rebooking/voucher policy.
