Georgian Airways will operate three weekly frequencies on the route Tbilisi - Batumi - Kiev on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The air fare for Tbilisi - Batumi sector amounts  49 €, and the fare for Batumi - Kiev sector is  199 USD for. In order to meet passenger demand the company decided to launch new destinations and expand its network. 25 passengers were transported on the first flight from Batumi to Kiev.

The flight was operated by CRJ-100ER type aircraft, seating 50 passengers. The CRJ-100ER type aircraft were acquired in September 2007. Regional flights will be operated by this type of aircraft.
