Georgian Airways together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia set up promotional action within the framework of the youth contest "Aviator". The company carried 40 children from the socially unprotected and internally displaced families from Tbilisi International Airport to Batumi. Mr. Konstantine Seperteladze, the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science attended the event.
During the sightseeing the youngsters were accompanied by the professional guide. After a day in Batumi the children returned in Tbilisi in the evening. The main objective of the contest is the popularization of aviation among younger generation.
Under the aegis of the contest the children also had the opportunity to meet the pilots and cabin crewmembers of the airline and discuss various subjects of their interest.
As a result of the youth contest held in previous years some of the contestants decided to choose their future profession from this specific field of industry.
