Dmitry Shashkin, the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia and Tamaz Gaiashvili, Chairman of Board of Directors of Georgian Airways lectured the students of the High School #47 on the theme "Aviation".
   Lecture was delivered within the frames of the Civil Defense and Safety lesson. Pilots and the cabin crew of the airline attended the lecture together with the school children. The students had the opportunity to get familiar with technical details and the history of aviation from the professional airmen. The minister and the head of the company outlined the strategic importance of this industry.
   The purpose of today's lecture is the popularization of   aviation industry among youth. Similar lectures covering other significant fields of industry will be delivered in the future within the frames of the Civil Defense and Safety Lessons - Dmitri Shashkin,  Minister of Education and Science of Georgia declared.
   There were a lot of famous and valiant pilots among Georgians. We need that our future generations continue their deeds and contribute to the development and growth of this branch - noted Tamaz Gaiashvili, Chairman of the Board of the Airline.
   Students of different schools participate in the youth contest "Aviator" held jointly by the air company Georgian Airways and the Ministry of Education and Science.
