Air company Airzena participated in the 16th annual International Mediterranean Tourism Market, held under the auspices of the Israel Ministry of Tourism in Tel-Aviv, Israel on February 9-10, 2010.
IMTM is the largest annual professional tourism fair in the Eastern Mediterranean, which is aimed to the promotion of tourism and enhancement of tourism among different countries.
World's major tour operators are interested to establish standing cooperation with Airzena, since it is the only carrier operating regular flights on the route Tbilisi - Tel-Aviv - Tbilisi for 11 years already. Currently the airline operates 2 weekly frequencies; however, further extension of flights up to 4 weekly frequencies is planned for Summer Season, 2010.
Representatives of Georgian tour companies had an opportunity to meet foreign colleagues and discuss the possibilities of tourism development between Georgia and Israel. The tour companies of both countries are considering Airzena as the main carrier and partner within the project.
